Finger Lakes winery Miles Wine Cellars is spotlighting Seneca White Deer, a non-profit organization working to preserve the unique wildlife of the area.

In the month of April, Miles Wine Cellars chose Seneca White Deer as their business to help in the winery’s Year of Giving campaign. The Year of Giving chooses to support local and national organizations by donating a portion of the sales for a period of time.

“Seneca White Deer is working tirelessly to preserve some unique wildlife in our area,” Suzy Hayes from Miles Wine Cellars states. “This is an organization that helps bring quality tourism to the Finger Lakes. It’s a great place to support year round.”

The winery not only supports local organizations by fundraising, but also by raising awareness.  On any given day, visitors can learn more about the Finger Lakes area and local businesses and organizations.

“The tours of the Seneca Depot with its wildlife and military history are a great compliment to the fine wineries in the Finger Lakes,” Dennis Money, President of Seneca White Deer said. “We appreciate the recognition and support by Miles Wine Cellars.”
