Call Me a Cab Chili

2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Cup Onion, chopped
2 1/2 lbs Beef, ground
4 14oz Cans of Diced Tomatoes
1 Cup “Call Me A Cab” Wine
3 Tbsp Chili Powder
3 Tbsp Cumin, ground
3 Tbsp Cocoa
2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
2 Tbsp Honey
2 15oz Cans Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
1 15oz Can Black Beans, drained and rinsed

Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil. Add beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain off fat. Add tomatoes, wine, spices and honey. Bring up to boil, then turn heat down and allow simmering for about 10 minutes. Add beans and continue to simmer for about 20 minutes. The longer it simmers the richer the flavor. Serve with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, a glass of chilled Call Me A Cab wine and several good friends. Enjoy!
